This painting came about as a way to show some presidents in a novel way with the preamble to the Declaration of Independence with the addition of (and women). Presidents' names on the explanation of that card: George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, George W. Bush, Theodore Roosevelt, Franklin Roosevelt, Harry Truman, Dwight D. Eisenhower, John F. Kennedy, Jimmie Carter, Ronald Reagan, and Donald Trump.
