This is Joseph in the Old Testament, where the story begins in Genesis 37. He was sold into slavery by his brothers. He was unjustly put in prison, but then by interpreting Pharaoh’s dreams suddenly was catapulted to second to Pharaoh to save Egypt and his family from the coming famine. It’s all on the coat that I painted. At the bottom right, is the word “forgiven.” Joseph forgave his brothers even though they caused all sorts of bad things to happen to him. He said God put me here in Egypt to save lives. The visions above him are about the 2 dreams he had that spoke of his brothers bowing down to him, which eventually came true.
