Pat Jessee received her bachelor’s degree in art from the University of Kansas in 1965. She also studied at the Kansas City Art Institute under Wilber Niewald and privately under several Kansas City Artists.
Pat Jessee’s father was an artist in his own right, and through his interests, she acquired an early appreciation, enjoyment and freedom of expression in art. Her works have included various Medium: ceramics, sculpture, weaving, jewelry, printmaking, oil, acrylic, and watercolor painting, fabric banners and most recently pastels, which she really loves to do. These have enhanced her interest in painting life – the countryside, cities, and people capturing a moment in time. She also does portraits of adults and children. She has also done mural commissions in churches and in people’s homes, and also banners by commission.
In 2015 she won Best of Show, and the theme award in a Christian Art Show.
